IEP Meeting Coming Up? How to Decide if You Need to Hire a Special Education Advocate

If your child has an IEP, you know that it can be nerve-wracking when it's time to meet with the school and reevaluate their accommodations each year. Working with a special education advocate can help. When you choose to work with a special education advocate, you'll be working with a professional who understands the ins and outs of special education accommodations. Your advocate will talk with you before the IEP meeting to learn more about how your child's unique needs are met by their teachers and caseworkers. When you go into an IEP meeting with a special education advocate, you'll know that you're prepared to fight for your child.
